La Pine Community Cemetery
A Historical Overview
The La Pine cemetery was originally called the Red Men Cemetery in the early 1900's. After the 1930's it went unused for a number of years. In 1980 it was donated to the community and became the La Pine Community Cemetery. In 2007 the newly formed City of La Pine took over ownership of the cemetery.
Statistics of the Cemetery
The cemetery is located on 40 acres and is partially treed. The address of the cemetery is 17425 Reed Road. The cemetery is located about one mile east of La Pine in Deschutes County. There are approximately 500 grave sites in the cemetery.
