Councilor Courtney Ignazzitto

Council President Ignazzitto has lived in La Pine since 2015 with her husband Scott and two dogs. She is currently employed at La Pine Community Health Center as Executive Assistant and Public Relations Specialist.

She attended Weatherford College in Weatherford, TX majoring in General Studies and Communication.

She serves on the worship team and youth leadership team at High Lakes Christian Church. She also enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband, including fishing, hiking and camping.

I have lived in Oregon for almost 50 years and La Pine since 2017.  My husband and I chose to retire in La Pine to take advantage of its outdoor beauty and small town feel.  At this point in my life I want to give something back to the community.  I enjoy Greek and Roman history, landscape design, interior design and gardening.

I graduated from  Portland State University with a degree in History and Religious Studies with honors.

Councilor Karen Mose has lived in La Pine for over 30 years and served as a wildland firefighter and water tender provider for fire suppression on forest lands for the majority of her career.  She joined the Council in 2023.

She has two children and several grandchildren in the La Pine area and she enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and camping in her spare time.
